Neil
Bryant currently serves
as the Governmental Advisor to the Chancellor's office and the State
Board of Higher Education. Neil
also serves on the Board of the Oregon
Museum for Science Industry ("OMSI") and chairs
the Debt Retirement Committee. Neil serves on the board for the
Oregon
High Desert Museum.
Robert
Lovlien continues to serve on the Board of Economic
Development for Central Oregon as past President. The Board is
composed of members from Crook, Deschutes, and Jefferson Counties,
spearheading economic development and business retention. Robert has also been appointed to
the Board of Trustees of the
Central Oregon Community College Foundation.
Lynn
Jarvis As many
of you may already know, Lynn Jarvis retired on December 31, 2007. For
more than 29 years, Lynn has represented Central Oregonians with great
skill and professionalism. She has also been a great business partner
and a close friend. Lynn will be greatly missed and we wish her the
best in her retirement.
John
Berge is now a member
of the Litigation and Construction Law Sections Executive Committee for the Oregon
State Bar, and current chair of the Oregon State Bar
Disciplinary Board.
Sharon
Smith serves on the board
of the BBB lecture series. Sharon also serves as chair of the J
bar J properties board and is on the UGB expansion subcommittee for the
city. Sharon continues to serve as pro-tem
City of Bend Judge. Sharon is the current chair of the Deschutes
Children's Foundation.
John
Sorlie John
Sorlie currently serves on the Board of Directors of Economic
Development for Central Oregon, an organization that provides support
and information to attract business to Central Oregon. He is a
member of the Mt. Bachelor Rotary Club and organizes the club's annual
fundraiser, the Dual in the Desert Duathlon. He is also former Chairman
and current member of the board of advisors to the Cascade Cycling
classic, a multi-stage bicycle race in July.
Mark
Reinecke is currently
serving as President of the Bend
Mt. Bachelor Rotary
Club. Mark recently
completed a 3-year term on the executive committee of the
Cascade Festival of Music
including service as vice-president and president. Mark continues
to serve on the Festival's Advisory Board and he provides the Festival
with a wide range of legal services pro bono. This coming Spring, Mark
will coach two youth Lacrosse teams.
Melissa
Lande Melissa is on the Deschutes County Family Law
Advisory committee, a multidisciplinary committee headed by the
presiding judge Sullivan. Melissa is also on the Executive Committee of
the Family Law Section of the Bar.
Kitri Ford is
a founding board member and currently an Advisory Board member of
MountainStar Family Relief Nursery, a Central Oregon nonprofit organization
that provides comprehensive services to distressed families with young children
with the goal of preventing child abuse and neglect. Kitri is also an active member of
the Oregon Association of Defense Counsel
and has been a speaker at the the organization's annual conventions.
Recently, Kitri was appointed to the joint pro-tem screening committee
for the 11th and 22nd Judicial Districts of the Oregon Circuit Court
(Deschutes, Crook & Jefferson Counties).
Paul J.
Tayor, serves on the executive committee of the business section of the Oregon State Bar. Also, Paul is on the boards of both the Kemple Clinic Children's
Dental Clinic and the
Bend Metro Park and Recreation Foundation.
Christopher A. Bagley, a former
prosecutor in Coos County and general practitioner in Bend, has joined
the firm's Civil Litigation Department where he will focus on General
Civil Litigation, Insurance Defense and Family Law.
Kyle D. Wuepper, formerly with Stoel Rives, LLP in Portland. Kyle's practice emphasizes business and
real estate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, choice of entity and
business formations, securities regulation and taxation. Kyle is a
graduate of Bend Senior High School and received his J.D. from
University of Oregon School of Law and LL.M. in Taxation from New York
University School of Law
Jeremy M. Green
formerly with Arnold, Gallagher, Saydack, Percell, Roberts & Potter in
Eugene. Jeremy
concentrates primarily in the areas of business and real estate
transactions, business formations, taxation, and estate planning.
Helen
L. Eastwood, Has been elected Vice-Chair of the Board of
Directors for
Healthy Beginnings, a non-profit organization providing wellness and
development screenings for children from birth to five years.
