John A. Berge

John Berge has been a member of Bryant, Lovlien & Jarvis
since 1987 and a shareholder since 1992. John’s concentration
and primary focus lie in litigation.
John is a member of the Oregon State Bar Association, the U.S.
District Court, District of Oregon and the Central Oregon Bar
Association where he is past president and past treasurer. John
is also the chair of the Oregon State Bar local Professional
Responsibility Committee and a member of the Oregon State Bar
Debtor-Creditor Section Executive Committeee
He is a cum laude graduate from Willamette University College
of Law where he earned his Juris Doctorate, and was admitted
to the Oregon State Bar in 1987. John also has a Bachelor of
Science degree awarded in finance from Oregon State University
with a minor in computer science. He is currently a part-time
instructor of Business Law at Linfield College and a past instructor
at Central Oregon Community College.
John enjoys skiing, hunting and fishing. He and his wife, Sandy,
have two children, Steven and Sarah.
